1. in the world:

The vision of God in this world is not possible. The meaning of Moses, when he asked his vision - the Almighty said:
  لَنْ تَرَانِي ) سورة الأعراف آية (143) . 

2. In the afterlife:

            See God in the hereafter fixed Qur'aan and Sunnah and the consensus of the predecessor.

In the book: -

1) The Almighty said:
  { وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَّاضِرَةٌ } * { إِلَىٰ رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةٌ } سورة القيامة آية : ( 22 ، 23 ) 

2) The Almighty said:
( كَلاَّ إِنَّهُمْ عَن رَّبِّهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّمَحْجُوبُونَ) سورة المطففون أية : (15 )
