The virtue of fasting is the month of Sha'baan
The month of Sha'baan, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to fast a lot of fasting in it; as stated in al-Saheehayn from 'Aa'ishah - may Allaah be pleased with her - she said: "I did not see the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) He fasted only a little of it "(Bukhari and Muslim.

It was narrated that 'Aa'ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) said: "I did not see the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) complete the fast of a month only
Ramadan and what I saw in a month rather than fasting in Shaaban) Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim.

 

 
And the wisdom of that, as some scholars have said, that many people are unaware of fasting in Sha'baan, so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) fasted most of the time, and this was narrated in the hadeeth of Osama. I said: O Messenger of Allaah, I did not fast from a month, People are unaware of him between Rajab and Ramadan, which is a month in which deeds are lifted to the Lord of the Worlds, so I love to raise my work when I am fasting. "Narrated by Abu Dawood, al-Nasaa'i and Sahihah Ibn Khuzaymah.

Is it right to devote half of Sha'baan to fasting or fasting?
Fasting the half, we should not devote the day of the half of Sha'baan to fasting without other days, and that too: the preferred half night

Sayings of the Salaf:


It was said to al-Hasan al-Basri:

Imam Ibn al-Qayyim said: The three blessings:

Al-Shafi'i said:

Ibn al-Qayyim said:

"If science is not working, Allaah will not forgive the ignorant of the people of the Book, even if it is beneficial to work without sincerity,



Imam al-Shafi'i said:

We asked to leave sins and we found it in the prayer of the Duha, and asked for the graves and we found it in reading the Koran


 

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah

(may Allaah have mercy on him) said

The virtue of integrity.

Preferred in the world and in the Hereafter
A) In the world:

( وَأَنْ لَوِ اسْتَقَامُوا عَلَى الطَّرِيقَةِ لأَسْقَيْنَاهُمْ مَاءً غَدَقًا)الجن :16

Shaykh Muhammad al-'Uthaymeen

benefit:

Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:
"All that was in the Koran from the praise of the slave is the fruit of science, and all that was in it is the fault of the fruit of ignorance"


Yahya bin Moaz said
"It is not sincere who claimed the love of God and did not keep his limits"
