Sayings of the Salaf:


It was said to al-Hasan al-Basri:

"So, he will be tempted by you." He said: "I have not done it well, and I have not tired of it."

Narrated by Sufyan al-Thawri

(may Allaah have mercy on him) that a man said to 'Umar ibn' Abd-al-'Aziz: "God has kept you." He said: "He has finished this."

 

It was narrated to Ibn Abbas

(may Allaah be pleased with him): How can God speak to all people on the Day of Resurrection in one hour? He said, "As all of them give them in one hour!"

 

Ibn Qutaiba quoted some of the books of wisdom:
"Thou art, if it is a hypocrite, its soul will only be rejected, such as the fire from the fire,



Imam Ibn al-Qayyim said: The three blessings:
(1) a blessing received by the slave.
(2) and a blessing awaited them.
(3) And grace is where it is not felt.

 

Al-Shafi'i said:
Sun self and carry it to decorate, live safe and say beautiful



Ibn al-Qayyim said:

"If science is not working, Allaah will not forgive the ignorant of the people of the Book, even if it is beneficial to work without sincerity,



Imam al-Shafi'i said:

We asked to leave sins and we found it in the prayer of the Duha, and asked for the graves and we found it in reading the Koran

 

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah
