Voluntary fasting

Voluntary fasting is one of the advantages of the Islamic religion and one of the mercy of God on His servants.

Q / What are the benefits of volunteer fasting?

1) Because voluntary fasting complements the defect resulting from fasting the obligatory fast.

2) It increases man’s faith and reward with God, the Almighty.

Days during which voluntary fasting is enacted:

1 / Fasting the egg days.

That the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, commanded to fast on the thirteenth, fourteenth, and fifteenth days

- A hadith on the authority of Abu Dhar - may God be pleased with him - who said: The Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace - said:

If you fasted for three times in the month, then fasted three ten, fourteen, and fifteen.) Collected by Ahmad 5/152 and Al-Tirmidhi (761)

The matter here is desirable.

Q / Why is it called the white days?

Its nights are not white with the light of the moon, and this is why the days of the eggs are called the days of the white nights, so the description of the nights, because they are by the light of the moon, they have become white.

* Whether it was at the beginning of the month, in the middle of it, or at the end of the month, and whether it was successive or separate

To talk:

(The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon them, used to fast three days of each month, and Aisha says he does not care whether he fasted it from the beginning, middle, or end of the month. ”(Collected by Muslim 2/818 and Aisha said:“ He did not care which Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who Which month fasts)

If he fasts the three days other than the white days, he will be rewarded, and he will be rewarded for fasting the eternal fast.

Q / Why fasting three days of every month is like fasting the whole age?

According to the hadith: Amr ibn al-Aas, may God be pleased with him, said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said:

(Fasting three days of every month is fasting the whole age) (Collected by Al-Bukhari 4/224, and Muslim 2/817)

Because a good deed is ten times as much, so three days are thirty good deeds for a month, and likewise the second and third month, so it is as if he fasted the whole year. (Al-Sharh Al-Mumti 'by Zad Al-Mustaqni by Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaymeen 6/463)

2) Fasting on Mondays and Thursdays.

Fasting Monday is more important than Thursday, so it is permissible for a person to fast on Mondays and Thursdays of each week

The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, explained:

(That they are two days in which the deeds are presented to God Almighty, he said: I would like my work to be raised while I am fasting)) (Collected by Ahmad / 5/2004 and Tirmidhi 2/55, and Hasan Al-Tirmidhi 4 and classed as hasan by Al-Tirmidhi 4/55.

The reward of fasting is volunteering.

His reward God keeps the fire away from him for seventy autumns.

To talk:

(There is no servant who fasts a day in the way of God except that God keeps his face away from the fire on that day) (Narrated by Al-Bukhari (2840) 6/473) Narrated by Muslim (2840) 6/473).

Dhuhr, which is four rak'ahs before noon with two peace, and it occurs after the time for the noon prayer begins, and it is not before the time for prayer begins, and two rak'ahs after it, so these are six rak'ahs, all of which are regular for the noon.

Afternoon it does not have a salary,

Maghrib has two rak'ahs following it,

Isha two rak'ahs after.

Fajr is two rak'ahs before dawn, and the two rak'ahs are pertaining to before dawn, that it is better for a person to pray them lightly.

She prays in urban areas and travels, and there is great favor

The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said:

Two kneeling at dawn is better than this world and what is in it.” Compiled by Muslim, the Book of Travelers' Prayer No. (96)

2 / tendon.

And it is one of the most afflicted naafil prayers, and the Witr prayer concludes the night prayer, so whoever fears that he will not get up at the end of the night, he will perform witr before sleeping

The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said:

Make the last of your prayers at night a lot.” Compiled by Al-Bukhari (998) and Muslim No. (151)

And at least - one rak'ah

Most of it - eleven rak'ahs

And the lowest of perfection - three rak'ahs.

3 / Duha prayer.

Its merit:

On the authority of Abu Dharr, may God be pleased with him: On the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, that he said:

«Becomes every phalanx of any one charity, all praise of charity, and all Thamidh charity, and all Thlilh charity, and all Tkberp charity, and enjoin charity, and forbidding what is evil is charity, and fractionate that Rkaatan Arkaahma of Duha» Sahih Muslim travelers prayers (1 / 498)

On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, who said:

My boyfriend, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, instructed me to do three: fasting three days every month, the two kneelings of the Duha, and that I should perform Witr before I fall asleep. ”21 Narrated by Muslim (21).

Mid-morning:

It starts from the height of the sun after its sunrise, as much as a spear, and extends to just before meridian

That is, when the sun rises in the midst of the sky

It is better for him to pray when the heat becomes too hot. The hadith (The Awwaben praying when fusions fall apart) Narrated by Muslim (748)

That is, so that you can protect the cold, and you will be blessed with the severity of the heat.)

What is recommended to be done on Friday
:

* It is recommended to recite Surat Al-Kahf on Friday

When it is proven in the hadith that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said:

(Whoever recites Surat Al-Kahf on Friday, a light shines between him and the old house) (See Hadith No. 6471 in Sahih Al-Jami)

* It is mustahabb to pray at the hour of response on Friday

The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said:

(Indeed, for an hour on Friday, a Muslim servant does not agree with it while standing and praying - meaning supplicating - asking God for something, unless he gives it to him)

(Al-Bukhari (935, 5294, 6400) and Muslim (852).

The scholars differed regarding the determination of this hour to more than forty sayings, but these sayings are more likely to be after the afternoon.

It was narrated that Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with him, said:

(The hour that is mentioned on Friday, between afternoon prayer until sunset),

And Sa`id bin Jubair used to pray when he prayed Asr, he would not speak to anyone until the sun had set, and this is the view of most of the predecessors, and on it most of the hadiths (see Zad al-Ma'ad (1/393, 394)

  * It is desirable to offer a lot of prayers over the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, on Friday and Friday nights.

For his saying, may God bless him and grant him peace:

(Increase the prayer on Friday and on Friday nights.)

And in the hadith: (So increase the prayer on him, because your prayer is offered to me), they said: O Messenger of God, and how are our prayers presented to you when you have been restored - meaning: you have worn out - He said: (Indeed, God Almighty has forbidden on earth to eat healthy bodies.) Narrated by Abu Dawood (1047), (1531), al-Nasa’i (3/91), and Ibn Majah (1636).
