Interpretation of Juz 'Amma (Surat An-Naba') (2
)

God Almighty said

{إِنَّ يَوْمَ الْفَصْلِ كانَ مِيقاتاً * يَوْمَ يُنْفَخُ فِي الصُّورِ فَتَأْتُونَ أَفْواجاً * وَفُتِحَتِ السَّماءُ فَكانَتْ أَبْواباً * وَسُيِّرَتِ الْجِبالُ فَكانَتْ سَراباً * إِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ كانَتْ مِرْصاداً * لِلطَّاغِينَ مَآباً * لابِثِينَ فِيها أَحْقاباً * لَا يَذُوقُونَ فِيها بَرْداً وَلا شَراباً * إِلاَّ حَمِيماً وَغَسَّاقاً * جَزاءً وِفاقاً * إِنَّهُمْ كانُوا لَا يَرْجُونَ حِساباً * وَكَذَّبُوا بِآياتِنا كِذَّاباً * وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ أَحْصَيْناهُ كِتاباً * فَذُوقُوا فَلَنْ نَزِيدَكُمْ إِلاَّ عَذاباً } The News (17-30) 

                                                                    

1) Creed matters in verses.

   * Belief in the Last Day (what happens on the Day of Resurrection)

)In the words of the Almighty إِنَّ يَوْمَ الْفَصْلِ كانَ مِيقاتاً * يَوْمَ يُنْفَخُ فِي الصُّورِ فَتَأْتُونَ أَفْواجاً * وَفُتِحَتِ السَّماءُ فَكانَتْ أَبْواباً * وَسُيِّرَتِ الْجِبالُ فَكانَتْ سَراباً  Al-Naba '(17-20()

* Ibn Kathir said:

The Almighty says, informing about the day of separation, which is the Day of Resurrection, that it is temporary with a counted term, it is neither increased nor diminished by it, nor is its time known to the appointment except God Almighty (Tafsir Ibn Katheer 4/463)

* Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaymeen said:

Allah's saying (إِنَّ يَوْمَ الْفَصْلِ)

It is the Day of Resurrection, and it is called the day of separation because God will separate the servants in it, separating the people of truth from the people of falsehood, and also separating the people of Heaven and Hell.

Allah's saying(كان ميقاتاً)

It means time for the reward, timed for a specific time.

And the words of the Almighty (يَوْمَ يُنْفَخُ فِي الصُّورِ)

And the blower who is assigned to it by Israfil, blows two puffs in it:

1 / People are frightened, then they are shocked, and they die.

2 / They are raised from their graves and their souls return to them.

Allah's saying{ فَتَأْتُونَ أَفْوَاجاً }

A regiment with a regiment or following a regiment

And these groups according to the nations, each nation is invited to its book to be held accountable for it, so people come in groups in this great situation.

* On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said:

What was between the forty-two puffs who said: O Abu Huraira forty days? He said: Did you not. They said: Forty months? He said: I refused. They said: Forty years? He asked, then come down God from heaven water they shall spring up, as herbs grow, he said: It is not human thing only wear, but bone one, a wonder of guilt, and it rides Creation Day of Resurrection. "(Sahih Muslim door between the two Trumpet-blasts 5387) (interpretation of the son of many 4/463)

Allah's saying (وَفُتِحَتِ السَّماءُ فَكانَتْ أَبْواباً)

They opened and opened to form doors after they were a stowed ceiling, and on that day they would be doors open.

And the words of the Almighty (وَسُيِّرَتِ الْجِبَالُ فَكَانَتْ سَرَاباً)

That the great, deaf mountains are rammed down, and they were like sand, then they walked like a mirage. (The precious interpretation of Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaimin 10 / 408-409)

* Ibn Kathir said:

And the words of the Almighty (فَكَانَتْ سَرَاباً)

It seems to the beholder that it is a thing, and not a thing, after this it will go completely, so there is no eye or a trace,

                           

                     

* Description of the people of Hell.

In the words of the Almighty (إِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ كانَتْ مِرْصاداً * لِلطَّاغِينَ مَآباً * لابِثِينَ فِيها أَحْقاباً * لَا يَذُوقُونَ فِيها بَرْداً وَلا شَراباً * إِلاَّ حَمِيماً وَغَسَّاقاً * جَزاءً وِفاقاً * إِنَّهُمْ كانُوا لَا يَرْجُونَ حِساباً * وَكَذَّبُوا بِآياتِنا كِذَّاباً * وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ أَحْصَيْناهُ كِتاباً * فَذُوقُوا فَلَنْ نَزِيدَكُمْ إِلاَّ عَذاباً  An-Naba '(21-30)

* Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaymeen said:

Allah's saying (إِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ)

One of the names of fire

And it was named by this name: because it is bulky and dark with its blackness and bottom.

Allah's saying (كَانَتْ مِرْصَاداً)

Watched and prepared for tyrants. (The precious interpretation of Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaimin 10/409)

* Ibn Kathir said:

Allah's saying ((لِلطَّاغِينَ مَآباً))

They are the disobedient ones who violate the messengers

)And the words of the Almighty مآبا)

 means reference, fluctuating, destiny and descended. (Tafsir Ibn Kathir 4/464)

* Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaymeen said:

Allah's saying (لابِثِينَ فِيها))

What remains in it,

Allah's saying (أَحْقَاباً)

That is, for long periods. (The precious interpretation of Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaimin 10/410)

* Ibn Kathir said:

Allah's saying (لاَّ يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا بَرْداً وَلاَ شَرَاباً)

They will not find in Hell a cold for their hearts or a good drink with which to feed them.

Allah's saying (إلا حَمِيماً)

And the words of the Almighty (ِ)

It is the hot that has ended its heat and heat.


And the words of the Almighty ((وَغَسَّاقاً ))

And dusk: is what was gathered from the pus of the people of Hell and their sweat, tears and wounds. (Tafsir Ibn Katheer 4/464)

* Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaymeen said:

Dusk is a very cold stinking syrup, combining very hot hot water with very cold cold water.

 Let them taste the torment in both respects:

In terms of temperature.

And in terms of coldness.

The noble verse indicates that they only taste this drink that cuts their intestines from its heat and breaks their livers due to its coldness. (The precious interpretation of Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaimin 10/411)

* Ibn Kathir said:

Allah's saying (جَزاءً وِفاقاً))

This punishment is according to their corrupt deeds that they used to do in this world.

And the words of the Almighty (إِنَّهُمْ كَانُواْ لاَ يَرْجُونَ حِسَاباً)

They did not think that then Dara would be held accountable. (Tafsir Ibn Katheer 4/465)

* Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaymeen said:

And the words of the Almighty (وَكَذَّبُوا بِآياتِنا كِذَّاباً))

They do not hope to be held accountable, but they deny the account, they deny the resurrection, they hope to be held accountable because they deny it, this is the belief of their hearts, but their tongues lie, they say this is a lie, this is magic, this is madness, and the like.

Allah's saying (وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ)

 It includes what God does of creation and management in the universe.

And the words of the Almighty (أَحْصَيْناهُ})

We seized it with an accurate count that does not differ.

And the words of the Almighty { كِتاباً  }

I mean books.

In the authentic hadith

(That God Almighty has written the quantities of everything until the Hour begins) This was included by Muslim, Kitab al-Qadr, Chapter on Pilgrims of Adam and Moses, may God’s prayers and peace be upon them (2653).

And the words of the Almighty (فَذُوقُواْ))

Taste the torment an insult and a rebuke: We will not take it away from you, and we will not relieve you.

 And the words of the Almighty (فَلَن نَّزِيدَكُمْ إِلاَّ عَذَاباً)

We do not keep you as you are, we only increase you torment in its strength, duration and type. (The precious interpretation of Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaymeen 10/412)

Juz 'Amma (Surat An-Naba' (1
)

{In the name of of Allah the Merciful}

{عَمَّ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ * عَنِ النَّبَإِ الْعَظِيمِ * الَّذِى هُمْ فِيهِ مُخْتَلِفُونَ * كَلاَّ سَيَعْلَمُونَ * ثُمَّ كَلاَّ سَيَعْلَمُونَ * أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ الاَْرْضَ مِهَداً * وَالْجِبَالَ أَوْتَاداً * وَخَلَقْنَكُمْ أَزْوَجاً * وَجَعَلْنَا نَوْمَكُمْ سُبَاتاً * وَجَعَلْنَا الَّيْلَ لِبَاساً * وَجَعَلْنَا النَّهَارَ مَعَاشاً * وَبَنَيْنَا فَوْقَكُمْ سَبْعاً شِدَاداً * وَجَعَلْنَا سِرَاجاً وَهَّاجاً * وَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ الْمُعْصِرَاتِ مَآءً ثَجَّاجاً * لِّنُخْرِجَ بِهِ حَبّاً وَنَبَاتاً وَجَنَّاتٍ أَلْفَافًا *) An-Naba (1-16)

                           

1) Questions of faith in verses.

    * Pillars of Faith (belief in the Last Day)

In the Almighty saying

 (عَمَّ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ * عَنِ النَّبَإِ الْعَظِيمِ * الَّذِى هُمْ فِيهِ مُخْتَلِفُونَ * كَلاَّ سَيَعْلَمُونَ * ثُمَّ كَلاَّ سَيَعْلَمُونَ) An-Naba {(1-5

* Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaymeen said:

Allah's saying (عَمَّ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ * عَنِ النَّبَإِ الْعَظِيمِ)

And this news is what the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, brought with regard to evidence and guidance, especially the news that he brought about the Last Day, the Resurrection and the reward,

 Allah's saying (الَّذِى هُمْ فِيهِ مُخْتَلِفُونَ)

People differed regarding this news that the Prophet, may God bless him and his family and grant him peace, brought:

Some of them believed in him and was true

Some of them have doubts and hesitations

Some of them disbelieved and lied

Allah's saying (كَلاَّ سَيَعْلَمُونَ * ثُمَّ كَلاَّ سَيَعْلَمُونَ)

They will know what they have denied with the knowledge of certainty, and that is if they saw the Day of Resurrection. (The precious interpretation of Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaimin 10 / 405-406)

In the words of the Most High (

 (أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ الاْرْضَ مِهَداً * وَالْجِبَالَ أَوْتَاداً * وَخَلَقْنَكُمْ أَزْوَجاً * وَجَعَلْنَا نَوْمَكُمْ سُبَاتاً * وَجَعَلْنَا الَّيْلَ لِبَاساً * وَجَعَلْنَا النَّهَارَ مَعَاشاً * وَبَنَيْنَا فَوْقَكُمْ سَبْعاً شِدَاداً * وَجَعَلْنَا سِرَاجاً وَهَّاجاً * وَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ الْمُعْصِرَاتِ مَآءً ثَجَّاجاً * لِّنُخْرِجَ بِهِ حَبّاً وَنَبَاتاً *وَجَنَّاتٍ أَلْفَافًا) *) An-Naba ((6-16)

* Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaymeen said:

Allah's saying (أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ الاْرْضَ مِهَداً)

May God make the earth cradles paved for creation, not solid, on which they cannot walk, and it is not soft, which they do not benefit from. (The precious interpretation of Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaimin 10/406)

* Ibn Kathir said:

Allah's saying (وَالْجِبَالَ أَوْتَاداً)

He made them pegs for them, which he laid them with, fixed them, and fixed them until she settled and did not become troubled by those on her. (Interpretation of Ibn Katheer 4/462

* Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaymeen said:

Allah's saying (وَخَلَقْنَكُمْ أَزْوَجاً)

Varieties between male and female, small and large, black and red, naughty and happy, and so on, which people differ in.

 Allah's saying (وَجَعَلْنَا نَوْمَكُمْ سُبَاتاً)

That is, cutting off fatigue, as sleep cuts off the previous fatigue, and this is from grace and is also one of the signs of God.

 Allah's saying (وَجَعَلْنَا الَّيْلَ لِبَاساً))

That is, God made this night on the earth like a dress, and we have seen that from the miraculous verses if you got on the plane and rose and the sun has set from the surface of the earth, then the sun becomes clear to you after it rises, you find the earth as if you were dressed in black clothes. * Ibn Kathir said:

Allah's saying (وَجَعَلْنَا النَّهَارَ مَعَاشاً)

We made it shining bright and shining so that people could go and come to livelihood, earnings, businesses and so on. (Tafsir Ibn Kathir 4/463)

* Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaymeen said:

Allah's saying (وَبَنَيْنَا فَوْقَكُمْ سَبْعاً شِدَاداً)

They are the seven heavens, which God Almighty described as being strong, because they are strong.

Allah's saying (وَجَعَلْنَا سِرَاجاً)

The sun is a luminous lamp,

Allah's saying (وَهَّاجاً)

It has a great heat, and its heat in the summer days is very hot, then it is in the days of hot heat in the intensity of hell.

 * As the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

 If the heat gets too hot, then they cool down with prayer, because the intensity of the heat is in the heat of Hell.” (Al-Bukhari, Book of Prayer Times, Chapter of the Noon Cooling in Extreme Heat (536). And the Muslim Book of Mosques, Chapter on Desirability of Cooling at Noon in Harder Heat (615)).

 And he said, may blessings and peace be upon him:

 The fire complained to God and she said: O Lord, eat some of me, so he gave it two souls, one in the winter, and one in the summer. Creation, chapter on the attribute of fire and that it is created (3620), and the Muslim book of mosques, chapter on the desirability of earning in the back in the intensity of heat (617).

And the words of the Almighty (وَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ الْمُعْصِرَاتِ)

As if the clouds squeeze out this rain when it comes down in the afternoon.

Allah's saying(ماء ثجَّاجاً}

Stream and flow, for its abundance and power, until it irrigates the earth.

Allah's saying(لنخرج به}

 Let's get out with this water.

Allah's saying(حبًّا ونباتاً}

 God brings out love with it in all its varieties and types, and the plant is one of the fruits and the like.

Allah's saying (وَجَنَّاتٍ أَلْفَافًا))

That is, orchards wrapped together, because of their abundance, goodness and splendor, to the extent that they conceal those in them because of their abundance, and wrapped each other together. (The precious interpretation of Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaymeen 10/407)

Fasting six Shawwal.

For the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said: “Whoever fasts Ramadan, then follows it with a sixteen from Shawwal, as if he had fasted an age.” (Collected by Muslim (1164) on the authority of Abu Ayyub al-Ansari.)

Ruling on fasting six days of Shawwal:

Q / Is it necessary to follow in the six fasts?

It is permissible in it to be consecutive and it is permissible to fast it separately - but it is better for it to be consecutive because that is often easier. The fuqaha 'said:

It is better that it be immediately after the day of Eid, because that is a precedent and good deeds.

Q / If fasting six days after Ramadan has to fast all ages, what is the reason for that?

The fasting of Ramadan for ten months is 30 x 10 = 300 because the good deed is ten times as much, and six times in Shawwal are like two months 6 x 10 = 60, so that has become like fasting forever. (Explanation of the Book of Fasting from Reaching the Goals by Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaymeen.)

 

Q / Does that represent the fasting of eternity?

No - because what is equivalent to something in remuneration does not act as a substitute for the reward, such as: reciting Surat Al-Ikhlas - A third of the Qur’an is equivalent to reciting it in prayer three times.

It is not divisible.

Fasting six days of Shawwal is not counted unless he fasts the entire month of Ramadan. Fasting six days is like a regular obligation for an obligatory one, and it must take place after the obligatory prayer. (Explanation of the Book of Fasting from Sahih Muslim by Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaymeen.)

Q / Who is the judge of the one who had to make up from Ramadan?

It is imperative to make up for Ramadan - because the Sunnah is to fast it after the end of Ramadan, so whoever has to make up the fasts and then fasts the six before making up for it does not get its reward because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Whoever fasts Ramadan) because this volunteer is restricted by the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. It should be after Ramadan. (Al-Sharh Al-Mumti 'on Zaad Al-Mustaqni' by Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaymeen 6/468)

Q / Who is judged if he delays fasting six days for an excuse, for example: He traveled from the first day of Eid until the end of Shawwal. Should he make it up?

It might be said to make it up.

- It may be said that he does not make it up because it is a Sunnah that has passed its due date.

Q / Is it permissible for a person who has to make up from Ramadan to volunteer to fast?

Disagreement among scholars:

1) The first saying - it is not permissible - whoever fasts voluntarily like the day of Arafah, and he has to make up for it, his fast is invalid.

2) The second saying: It is correct, because the judgment is not immediate, but rather in the case of slackness. Just as a person has the right to pray among the redundancies before the obligatory prayer as he wishes, unless the time has passed

Likewise, fasting, so long as the time is long, it is okay to do a voluntary fast that has to make up for it.

This is the correct view.

It is permissible for the one who has to make up the fasts to volunteer to fast as long as the time is available.

If the remainder is from Sha`ban except for a little, then he does not have to volunteer due to lack of time.

There is no doubt it is better to initiate the judiciary

1) Because God Almighty says:

) فَاسْتَبِقُوا الْخَيْرَاتِ)

Al-Baqarah: 148

2) Because it is faster in discharge.

Q / For certain that a person fell ill after Ramadan and was not able to fast it until after the end of the month of Shawwal, should he fast it, or do we say that it is a Sunnah that has passed its due?

Apparent:

To fast, especially if it is his habit to fast, and the same applies if a woman breathes at the beginning of Ramadan and then becomes pure (10) Shawwal and starts making up.
