Virtues of the tenth of Dhul-Hijjah

Praise be to God, and prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of God and upon all his family and companions

It is from God’s mercy on us that He has prepared for us opportunities and seasons in which the ranks are raised, the good deeds are multiplied, the bad deeds are expiated and there are reasons for entering Paradise.

We must hasten and hurry to do good deeds, in response to the command of the Lord of the earth and the heavens

Almighty said

Al-Baqarah: 148

And in accordance with the commandment of the best of creatures

Interview (The Messenger of Allah ﷺ: initiated the falsehood like a dark night man becomes a believer or an infidel evening comes a believer and an evening comes an infidel religion sells introduced from the floor) Narrated by Muslim

It is from the great wisdom of God Almighty to distinguish between days, nights, months and hours

The last hour of Friday is better than the other hours of the day, and the hours of the last third of the night are better than the hours of the night when mercy descends and the question is answered.

And the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah are the best days of the year, blessed days that God swore by in His Book, and explained their merits, and God, the Blessed and Exalted, made them an opportunity for the believer to return to his Lord and get closer to his Creator, and for them the reward will be multiplied, so what will you receive?!

Q/ Why is the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah preferred over others?

God swore by it, and he swore by it only because of its greatness

The Almighty said

 Surah Al-Fajr (1-2)

More than one of the salaf said:

It is the tenth of Dhul-Hijjah, which is the view of the majority of commentators and was chosen by Ibn Kathir.

It's the best days in the world

On the authority of Jaber, may God be pleased with him, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, he said: The best days of the world are the ten days - meaning the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah - It was said: And not like them in the way of God? He said: There is none like them in the way of God except for a man whose face is covered with dust [Narrated by Al-Bazzar and Ibn Hibban and authenticated by Al-Albani] [Sahih / Sahih Al-Jami’ Al-Sagheer, (1133)].

Good deeds during it are more beloved to God than on other days

On the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to God than these days - meaning the ten days - they said: O Messenger of God, nor jihad for the sake of God? He said: Not even jihad for the sake of God, except for a man who went out with himself and his money and then did not return with anything.” [Al-Bukhari]

Ibn Hajar said:

What appears to be the reason why the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah are privileged is the place where the mothers of worship gather, which is prayer, fasting, charity and Hajj, and this does not come in other than that.

The scholars differed: which is better, the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah or the last ten days of Ramadan?

The most correct, as Ibn al-Qayyim mentioned:

The last ten nights of Ramadan are better than the ten nights of Dhul-Hijjah (considering Laylat al-Qadr) and the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah are better than the ten days of Ramadan (considering the day of Arafat, the Sacrifice)

that in mentioning

Hajj: 28

Modern :

On the authority of Ibn Umar, may God be pleased with them, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, he said: “There are no days that are greater in the sight of God and I do not like to work on them than these ten days.

Al-Bukhari said:

Ibn Umar and Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with them, used to go out to the market in the ten days saying takbeer and people would say takbeer. And he said: “Umar used to say the takbeer in his dome in Mina, so the people of the mosque would hear him reciting the takbeer, and the people of the markets would recite the takbeer until Mina shook.

Ibn Umar used to grow up in Mina those days, behind the prayers, on his bed, and in his tents, sittings, and walks all those days.”

It is the day of Arafah

The one in which emancipation from the Fire is abundant, and the Day of Arafat is one of the best ten days, indeed one of the best days of the year.

The Almighty said:

The promised day is the Day of Resurrection, and the witnessed day is the Day of Arafat (Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi).

Just as God has bestowed upon us a great deal of His freeing, Glory be to Him, as stated in Sahih Muslim

He said: (Aisha said that the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, he said that more than a day that God frees the slaves from the fire from the day of Arafa and it's approaching and then boast of their angels says what they wanted). narrated by Muslim

Hadith: (I hope that Allah will expiate for the year before it and the year after it) Sahih Muslim

The best supplication is the supplication on the Day of Arafat (there is no god but God alone, He has no partner.....)

That is the Day of Sacrifice

It is the tenth day that the Prophet, peace be upon him, said about

“The greatest days with God Almighty is the Day of Sacrifice, then the Day of Resurrection.” Narrated by Abu Dawood. "

And the Day of Resurrection:

It is the eleventh day, the first day of al-Tashreeq, because pilgrims recognize Mina on it.

Q: What are the recommended actions in these ten days?

Worship:

It is a comprehensive name for all that God loves and is pleased with, both outward and inward.

And these ten days are numbered, how quickly they go away, so the successful is the one who hurries to what is with God

As Imam Ahmad said:

(The world is an hour, so make it obedience)

These acts of worship and actions increase faith, for faith increases with obedience and decreases with disobedience

If your faith increases, your closeness to God increases.

of business:

1/ Sincerity

A person must invoke the intention in all his acts of worship, and not intend to worship him except for the pleasure of God, glory be to Him, and the Hereafter.

And this is what God commanded in His saying

 The Evidence: 5

Meaning: loyal to him at work

And this is the story of the owners of the cave who begged God through their righteous deeds and because of their sincerity, God relieved them of what they were in

That is why we were keen on reminding him of it while we are approaching in these blessed seasons to renew the intention and make it sincere to the Lord of the wilderness. Because he, the Blessed and Exalted, does not accept any action except that which was purely for him and for which he sought His face, Glory be to Him.

Let us beware of hypocrisy

Modern:

(Salamah said, I heard Jndba say: The Prophet peace be upon him and did not hear anyone say Prophet peace be upon him other Phinot him heard him say: The Prophet peace be upon him: who heard God heard him and Araia Araia by God) [Bukhari Muslim, Ibn Majah, Ahmad)

And the acceptance of your deeds is only with sincerity, for sincerity is the secret of goodness

You must have hidden works that only God Almighty knows.

2/ male

Lots of remembrance of God Almighty said

Hajj: 28

Imam Bukhari said:

(Ibn Umar and Abu Hurayrah used to go out to the market on the ten days saying the takbeer and the people said the takbeer in their takbeer)

Zoom is of two types:

absolute 2) bound

The absolute magnification:

It is for a person to grow up at any time, at any time and in any place during the ten days and the days of al-Tashreeq

Restricted Zoom:

It is what was restricted to the backs of the five daily prayers and starts from the dawn of the day of Arafat until the afternoon of the last days of al-Tashreeq

Ibn Taymiyyah said:

The most correct sayings about the takbeer that the majority of the salaf are upon

To say the takbeer from the dawn of the day of Arafat to the last days of al-Tashreeq after each prayer

Modern

(Shall I not tell fine deeds, and Ozkaha when Mlikkm, and lift it in Drjatkm and good for you than spending gold and paper, and good for you that have received your enemies Vtdharbwa their necks and smite your neck? They said: Yes. He said: Allah the Almighty) Maaz bin Jabal said: What is something Ingy from God’s torment from the remembrance of God

Narrator: Abu al-Darda’, narrator: al-Albani - Source: Sahih al-Tirmidhi - Page or number: 3377

Summary of the updated ruling: Sahih)

3 / Make sure to recite the Qur’an frequently, memorize it, and keep it.

God has made clear the virtue of reciting His Book

And he said:

 (2 hope):

The Qur’an will come on the Day of Resurrection as an intercessor for its companions

(It is said to the owner of the Qur’an: Recite and ascend and recite as you used to recite in this world, for your position is at the last verse you recited)

These days are an opportunity to learn the Qur’an, memorize it, and adhere to it.

The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Agree with the Qur’an, for by the one in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, he is the most ignorant and ignorant of Islam.”

It is better for you to conclude in these ten days, even once, by reading three parts every day

4/ Fasting

It is mustahabb for a person to fast all nine or whatever is available to him.

As for what was mentioned in Sahih Muslim from the hadith of the Mother of the Believers: (I have never seen the Messenger of God fasting during the ten days)

This does not preclude the desirability of her fasting, as evidenced by the fact that her fasting is part of the good deeds, and the Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, urged good deeds at all.

Hadith: “No servant fasts a day in the way of God but that on that day God will keep his face away from the Fire by seventy Muslims.”

As for fasting on the day of Arafah, which is the ninth day of Dhul-Hijjah, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was asked about his fasting, and he said:

Hadith: (I hope that Allah will expiate for the year before it and the year after it) Sahih Muslim

What should be known is that it is desirable to fast on the Day of Arafat for a non-pilgrim. As for the pilgrim, it is not prescribed for him to fast, for the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, did not fast in Arafat, but rather prohibited that. Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, said: (The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, forbade About fasting on the day of Arafat at Arafat (Sahih according to the conditions of Al-Bukhari)

5/ Charity

She is welcome all the time

And since we are in virtuous days and good deeds in them are more beloved to God than others, the desirability of giving charity in these days is more certain than others

God has made the first attributes of the righteous, for whom a paradise as wide as the heavens and the earth has been prepared, is that they spend in prosperity and in adversity.

 (Al-Imran: 133 134)

Charity is a reason to increase money

(On the authority of Abu Hurayrah, may God be pleased with him, that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: God Almighty said:

And seven whom Allah will shade in His shade from among them

A hadith (on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him), he said: “Seven will be shaded by God under His shade on the Day when there will be no shade but His: a just imam and a young man who grew up in the worship of God, and a man whose heart is attached to mosques, and two men who love each other for the sake of God gather over him and separate for him. And a man was called by a woman of position and beauty and said, “I fear God.” A man gave alms in charity and he concealed it so that his left hand did not know what his right hand was spending;

6/ The sacrifice.

God has legislated the sacrifice

 Al-Kawthar: 2.

A hadith: (In the two Sahihs and others on the authority of Anas, may God be pleased with him, he said: “The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, sacrificed two salty rams, so I saw him placing his feet on their plates, shouting and saying takbir, and he slaughtered them with his hand.”

Sacrifice conditions:

Safety from defects.

(Four things are not sufficient in sacrifice: the one-eyed whose defects are clear, the sick woman whose disease is clear, the one who is lame whose rib is clear, and the broken one that cannot be cleaned)

The time for slaughter begins immediately after the Eid prayer

Talk :( said the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him: "Whoever slaughtered before the prayer for he slaughtered himself, and slaughtered after the prayer has been asceticism, and struck the Muslims) Narrated by Bukhari: 911.2 - Bab: dividing the Imam of sacrificial animals among the people .5227 -

It is Sunnah for the one who sacrifices to sacrifice to eat from his sacrifice, to give gifts to relatives and neighbors, and to give alms from it to the poor and needy

The Almighty said:

 Hajj: (28)

And whoever wants to sacrifice, let him withhold from his hair, nails and skin, i.e. not take anything from them when the new moon of Dhul-Hijjah is sighted until he slaughters his sacrifice.

:( talk about Umm Salamah: that the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: "If you entered the ten, one of you and wanted to sacrifice not touch his hair, nor ravenously nothing." (Narrated by Muslim)

Fdl talk:

It is not permissible for someone who wants to sacrifice to take from these three things - hair, nails and skin - until he has slaughtered his sacrifice.

Imam Ahmad held that it is obligatory to abstain from these matters

And the audience went: to hate only

The first saying: It is more likely, with evidence that the Messenger forbade that, and the basic principle in the prohibition is that it is forbidden

The person who wants to sacrifice is the one who must abstain, but if he involves his family with him, they do not have to abstain.

Likewise, if someone else is to sacrifice on his behalf, then the agent does not have to not take from these things because he is an agent, but the person who was appointed is the one who must abstain.

Whoever wants to offer a sacrifice may brush and touch the perfume, but he is not allowed to do any of these three things.

One of the common mistakes is that some sacrifice on behalf of the dead and leave the living, knowing that it is more certain in the rights of the
living than the dead unless it is a
 will.

May God’s peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his family and companions
