Juz 'Amma (Surat An-Naba': 3)

God Almighty said

{إِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ مَفازاً * حَدائِقَ وَأَعْناباً * وَكَواعِبَ أَتْراباً * وَكَأْساً دِهاقاً * لَا يَسْمَعُونَ فِيها لَغْواً وَلا كِذَّاباً * جَزاءً مِنْ رَبِّكَ عَطاءً حِساباً * رَبِّ السَّماواتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَما بَيْنَهُمَا الرَّحْمنِ لَا يَمْلِكُونَ مِنْهُ خِطاباً * يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الرُّوحُ وَالْمَلائِكَةُ صَفًّا لَا يَتَكَلَّمُونَ إِلاَّ مَنْ أَذِنَ لَهُ الرَّحْمنُ وَقالَ صَواباً * ذلِكَ الْيَوْمُ الْحَقُّ فَمَنْ شاءَ اتَّخَذَ إِلى رَبِّهِ مَآباً * إِنَّا أَنْذَرْناكُمْ عَذاباً قَرِيباً يَوْمَ يَنْظُرُ الْمَرْءُ مَا قَدَّمَتْ يَداهُ وَيَقُولُ الْكافِرُ يا لَيْتَنِي كُنْتُ تُراباً }. Surah An-Naba '(31-40)

                             

1) The promise and warning in the verses.

      * The promise in the verses:

In the Almighty saying (إِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ مَفَازًا * حَدائِقَ وَأَعْناباً * وَكَواعِبَ أَتْراباً * وَكَأْساً دِهاقاً * لَا يَسْمَعُونَ فِيها لَغْواً وَلا كِذَّاباً * جَزاءً مِنْ رَبِّكَ عَطاءً حِساباً) News: 31-36

* Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaymeen said:

Allah's saying ( إِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ مَفَازًا)

The pious: They are those who have feared the punishment of God, by doing God's commands and avoiding His prohibitions.

Al-Mafaz: They are winners in their places, and winners in their days.

Allah's saying { حَدَائِقَ }

 The groves of trees are great and many and varied.

Allah's saying { وَأَعْنَابًا }

 He collected grapes, but he singled them out for her honor.

Allah's saying { وَكَوَاعِبَ }

Gathered like a player and she is the one who shows her breast and did not hang down, rather it appeared and appeared like the heel, and this is the most complete thing in the beauty of the chest.

Allah's saying {وأتراباً}

At one age, one of them does not differ from the other as much as in women of this world.

Allah's saying {وكأساً دهاقاً}

 A full cup, and what is meant by the cup here is the cup of wine.

 Allah's saying { لَّا يَسْمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغْوًا}

In Heaven they will not hear vain words for which there is no good.

Allah's saying { وَلَا كِذَّابًا}

And don't lie to each other.

Allah's saying { جَزَاءً مِّن رَّبِّكَ}

They are sanctioned by this as a reward from God Almighty for their good deeds that they have done in this world and they feared the forbidden things of God.

 Allah's saying { عَطَاءً حِسَابًا}

That is, sufficient, taken from al-Husb, which is sufficient. (The precious interpretation of Sheikh Muhammad al-Uthaymeen 10 / 413-114)

                                   

2) Questions of faith in verses.

     * A statement of the power of God Almighty

In the Almighty saying (رَّبِّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا الرَّحْمنِ لَا يَمْلِكُونَ مِنْهُ خِطَابًا) (The News: 37)

* Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaymeen said:

Allah's saying (رَّبِّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ)

God Almighty is the Lord of everything. He is the Lord of the seven heavens, and he is the Lord of the Earth.

Allah's saying { وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا }

That is, between the heavens and the earth, there are great creatures such as clouds, clouds, spheres, and other things that we know, and that which only God Almighty knows. (The precious interpretation of Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaymeen 10/415)

* Ibn Kathir said:

Allah's saying (لَا يَمْلِكُونَ مِنْهُ خِطَابًا)

No one is able to start addressing him without his permission. (Tafsir Ibn Katheer 4/466)

                                           

* Belief in the Last Day in the verses:

In the Almighty saying (يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الرُّوحُ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ صَفًّا * يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الرُّوحُ وَالْمَلائِكَةُ صَفًّا لَا يَتَكَلَّمُونَ إِلاَّ مَنْ أَذِنَ لَهُ الرَّحْمنُ وَقالَ صَواباً * ذلِكَ الْيَوْمُ الْحَقُّ فَمَنْ شاءَ اتَّخَذَ إِلى رَبِّهِ مَآباً ) The News: 38-39)

* Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaymeen said:

Allah's saying { يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الرُّوحُ}

 It is Gabriel

Allah's saying { وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ صَفًّا }

Rows. Row after row, no one knows their number except for the one who created them.

Allah's saying (لَّا يَتَكَلَّمُونَ)

 They do not speak angels or others.

Allah's saying { إِلاَّ مَنْ أَذِنَ لَهُ الرَّحْمنُ}

 With words, he speaks as authorized.

Allah's saying { وَقالَ صَواباً }

In accordance with the pleas of God Almighty and that is through intercession, if God permits someone to intercede for what He has permitted in it according to what He has authorized.

Allah's saying (ذلِكَ الْيَوْمُ)

 That's what we told you.

Allah's saying (الْحَقُّ)

The constant in which the truth is established, and justice is established in it on the day that neither money nor children will benefit anyone but God with a sound heart.

Allah's saying { فَمَنْ شاءَ اتَّخَذَ إِلى رَبِّهِ مَآباً}

That is, whoever wants to do an act that repents to God and returns it to God, and that is a righteous deed that corresponds to the pleasure of God Almighty. (The precious interpretation of Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaymeen 10/415)

                            

3) Promise and warning in the verses:

    * The warning in the verse:

In the Almighty saying (إِنَّا أَنذَرْنَاكُمْ عَذَابًا قَرِيبًا يَوْمَ يَنظُرُ الْمَرْءُ مَا قَدَّمَتْ يَدَاهُ وَيَقُولُ الْكَافِرُ يَا لَيْتَنِي كُنتُ تُرَابًا) News: 40

* Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaymeen said:

Allah's saying (إِنَّا أَنذَرْنَاكُمْ عَذَابًا قَرِيبًا )

 We feared you of a near torment, which is the Day of Resurrection.

Allah's saying { يَوْمَ يَنظُرُ الْمَرْءُ مَا قَدَّمَتْ يَدَاهُ }

Every person looks at what is presented by his hands and is between his hands and gives his book.

Allah's saying { وَيَقُولُ الْكَافِرُ}

From the severity of what he sees from the horror and what he witnesses of the torment.

Allah's saying { يَا لَيْتَنِي }

I wish I did not create, or I wish I did not send.

Allah's saying{ كُنتُ تُرَابًا}

It has three meanings:

1 / I wish I was dust, and I was not created, because man was created from dust.

2 / I wish you were dust, but I was not sent, I mean, you were dust in the caves of the graves.

3 / That if he saw the beasts that God decreed among them and said to them that you are dust, then they were dust, he said: I wish I were dust, that is, as these animals were - and God knows best. (The precious interpretation of Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaimin 10 / 415-416)

Interpretation of Juz 'Amma (Surat An-Naba') (2
)

God Almighty said

{إِنَّ يَوْمَ الْفَصْلِ كانَ مِيقاتاً * يَوْمَ يُنْفَخُ فِي الصُّورِ فَتَأْتُونَ أَفْواجاً * وَفُتِحَتِ السَّماءُ فَكانَتْ أَبْواباً * وَسُيِّرَتِ الْجِبالُ فَكانَتْ سَراباً * إِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ كانَتْ مِرْصاداً * لِلطَّاغِينَ مَآباً * لابِثِينَ فِيها أَحْقاباً * لَا يَذُوقُونَ فِيها بَرْداً وَلا شَراباً * إِلاَّ حَمِيماً وَغَسَّاقاً * جَزاءً وِفاقاً * إِنَّهُمْ كانُوا لَا يَرْجُونَ حِساباً * وَكَذَّبُوا بِآياتِنا كِذَّاباً * وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ أَحْصَيْناهُ كِتاباً * فَذُوقُوا فَلَنْ نَزِيدَكُمْ إِلاَّ عَذاباً } The News (17-30) 

                                                                    

1) Creed matters in verses.

   * Belief in the Last Day (what happens on the Day of Resurrection)

)In the words of the Almighty إِنَّ يَوْمَ الْفَصْلِ كانَ مِيقاتاً * يَوْمَ يُنْفَخُ فِي الصُّورِ فَتَأْتُونَ أَفْواجاً * وَفُتِحَتِ السَّماءُ فَكانَتْ أَبْواباً * وَسُيِّرَتِ الْجِبالُ فَكانَتْ سَراباً  Al-Naba '(17-20()

* Ibn Kathir said:

The Almighty says, informing about the day of separation, which is the Day of Resurrection, that it is temporary with a counted term, it is neither increased nor diminished by it, nor is its time known to the appointment except God Almighty (Tafsir Ibn Katheer 4/463)

* Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaymeen said:

Allah's saying (إِنَّ يَوْمَ الْفَصْلِ)

It is the Day of Resurrection, and it is called the day of separation because God will separate the servants in it, separating the people of truth from the people of falsehood, and also separating the people of Heaven and Hell.

Allah's saying(كان ميقاتاً)

It means time for the reward, timed for a specific time.

And the words of the Almighty (يَوْمَ يُنْفَخُ فِي الصُّورِ)

And the blower who is assigned to it by Israfil, blows two puffs in it:

1 / People are frightened, then they are shocked, and they die.

2 / They are raised from their graves and their souls return to them.

Allah's saying{ فَتَأْتُونَ أَفْوَاجاً }

A regiment with a regiment or following a regiment

And these groups according to the nations, each nation is invited to its book to be held accountable for it, so people come in groups in this great situation.

* On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said:

What was between the forty-two puffs who said: O Abu Huraira forty days? He said: Did you not. They said: Forty months? He said: I refused. They said: Forty years? He asked, then come down God from heaven water they shall spring up, as herbs grow, he said: It is not human thing only wear, but bone one, a wonder of guilt, and it rides Creation Day of Resurrection. "(Sahih Muslim door between the two Trumpet-blasts 5387) (interpretation of the son of many 4/463)

Allah's saying (وَفُتِحَتِ السَّماءُ فَكانَتْ أَبْواباً)

They opened and opened to form doors after they were a stowed ceiling, and on that day they would be doors open.

And the words of the Almighty (وَسُيِّرَتِ الْجِبَالُ فَكَانَتْ سَرَاباً)

That the great, deaf mountains are rammed down, and they were like sand, then they walked like a mirage. (The precious interpretation of Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaimin 10 / 408-409)

* Ibn Kathir said:

And the words of the Almighty (فَكَانَتْ سَرَاباً)

It seems to the beholder that it is a thing, and not a thing, after this it will go completely, so there is no eye or a trace,

                           

                     

* Description of the people of Hell.

In the words of the Almighty (إِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ كانَتْ مِرْصاداً * لِلطَّاغِينَ مَآباً * لابِثِينَ فِيها أَحْقاباً * لَا يَذُوقُونَ فِيها بَرْداً وَلا شَراباً * إِلاَّ حَمِيماً وَغَسَّاقاً * جَزاءً وِفاقاً * إِنَّهُمْ كانُوا لَا يَرْجُونَ حِساباً * وَكَذَّبُوا بِآياتِنا كِذَّاباً * وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ أَحْصَيْناهُ كِتاباً * فَذُوقُوا فَلَنْ نَزِيدَكُمْ إِلاَّ عَذاباً  An-Naba '(21-30)

* Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaymeen said:

Allah's saying (إِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ)

One of the names of fire

And it was named by this name: because it is bulky and dark with its blackness and bottom.

Allah's saying (كَانَتْ مِرْصَاداً)

Watched and prepared for tyrants. (The precious interpretation of Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaimin 10/409)

* Ibn Kathir said:

Allah's saying ((لِلطَّاغِينَ مَآباً))

They are the disobedient ones who violate the messengers

)And the words of the Almighty مآبا)

 means reference, fluctuating, destiny and descended. (Tafsir Ibn Kathir 4/464)

* Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaymeen said:

Allah's saying (لابِثِينَ فِيها))

What remains in it,

Allah's saying (أَحْقَاباً)

That is, for long periods. (The precious interpretation of Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaimin 10/410)

* Ibn Kathir said:

Allah's saying (لاَّ يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا بَرْداً وَلاَ شَرَاباً)

They will not find in Hell a cold for their hearts or a good drink with which to feed them.

Allah's saying (إلا حَمِيماً)

And the words of the Almighty (ِ)

It is the hot that has ended its heat and heat.


And the words of the Almighty ((وَغَسَّاقاً ))

And dusk: is what was gathered from the pus of the people of Hell and their sweat, tears and wounds. (Tafsir Ibn Katheer 4/464)

* Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaymeen said:

Dusk is a very cold stinking syrup, combining very hot hot water with very cold cold water.

 Let them taste the torment in both respects:

In terms of temperature.

And in terms of coldness.

The noble verse indicates that they only taste this drink that cuts their intestines from its heat and breaks their livers due to its coldness. (The precious interpretation of Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaimin 10/411)

* Ibn Kathir said:

Allah's saying (جَزاءً وِفاقاً))

This punishment is according to their corrupt deeds that they used to do in this world.

And the words of the Almighty (إِنَّهُمْ كَانُواْ لاَ يَرْجُونَ حِسَاباً)

They did not think that then Dara would be held accountable. (Tafsir Ibn Katheer 4/465)

* Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaymeen said:

And the words of the Almighty (وَكَذَّبُوا بِآياتِنا كِذَّاباً))

They do not hope to be held accountable, but they deny the account, they deny the resurrection, they hope to be held accountable because they deny it, this is the belief of their hearts, but their tongues lie, they say this is a lie, this is magic, this is madness, and the like.

Allah's saying (وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ)

 It includes what God does of creation and management in the universe.

And the words of the Almighty (أَحْصَيْناهُ})

We seized it with an accurate count that does not differ.

And the words of the Almighty { كِتاباً  }

I mean books.

In the authentic hadith

(That God Almighty has written the quantities of everything until the Hour begins) This was included by Muslim, Kitab al-Qadr, Chapter on Pilgrims of Adam and Moses, may God’s prayers and peace be upon them (2653).

And the words of the Almighty (فَذُوقُواْ))

Taste the torment an insult and a rebuke: We will not take it away from you, and we will not relieve you.

 And the words of the Almighty (فَلَن نَّزِيدَكُمْ إِلاَّ عَذَاباً)

We do not keep you as you are, we only increase you torment in its strength, duration and type. (The precious interpretation of Sheikh Muhammad Al-Uthaymeen 10/412)
