What is recommended to be done on Friday:
* It is recommended to recite Surat Al-Kahf on Friday
When it is proven in the hadith that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said:
(Whoever recites Surat Al-Kahf on Friday, a light shines between him and the old house) (See Hadith No. 6471 in Sahih Al-Jami)
* It is mustahabb to pray at the hour of response on Friday
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said:
(Indeed, for an hour on Friday, a Muslim servant does not agree with it while standing and praying - meaning supplicating - asking God for something, unless he gives it to him)
(Al-Bukhari (935, 5294, 6400) and Muslim (852).
• The scholars differed regarding the determination of this hour to more than forty sayings, but these sayings are more likely to be after the afternoon.
It was narrated that Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with him, said:
(The hour that is mentioned on Friday, between afternoon prayer until sunset),
And Sa`id bin Jubair used to pray when he prayed Asr, he would not speak to anyone until the sun had set, and this is the view of most of the predecessors, and on it most of the hadiths (see Zad al-Ma'ad (1/393, 394)
* It is desirable to offer a lot of prayers over the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, on Friday and Friday nights.
For his saying, may God bless him and grant him peace:
(Increase the prayer on Friday and on Friday nights.)
And in the hadith: (So increase the prayer on him, because your prayer is offered to me), they said: O Messenger of God, and how are our prayers presented to you when you have been restored - meaning: you have worn out - He said: (Indeed, God Almighty has forbidden on earth to eat healthy bodies.) Narrated by Abu Dawood (1047), (1531), al-Nasa’i (3/91), and Ibn Majah (1636).
